how to study / do well in anatomy & physiology 12
1) Review daily.
-Anatomy & Physiology (previously Biology 12) is super interesting and demanding academic course with lots to know and learn. Be an active learner! Read ahead. Review the material daily. Answer the suggested review questions. Watch the suggested videos. That way, you will be constantly reviewing and thinking about the content, rather than trying to cram for the exam. The more times you review the material, the easier it is to understand and remember .
2) Make study notes
- review and summarize the key ideas from the textbook, from in class notes and the suggested videos
3) Do the homework and review questions
- practice for the test by completing the review worksheets and answering the suggested textbook questions
- write past provincial exams. I usually have a review package with past provincial exams questions on it for each unit. (This is often where my test questions come from!!)
- write practice tests. You can create and do test questions at QuizMeBC. Here is the link www.quizmebc.ca/quiz.php

4) Ask for help!!
- don't wait until the last minute and 5 minutes before the test to ask questions. Ask questions in class or come and see me in room 116. I am available most days at lunch and during Flex time.
